Lapoblación is the westernmost municipality in Navarra, located at a high altitude in the Cantabria mountain range and comprising the villages of Lapoblación and Meano. It stands out for its very high income levels, an exceptional natural environment dominated by the León Dormido mountain, and virtually non-existent unemployment. However, as a very small municipality, it lacks most basic services and direct urban infrastructure.
